We drive to Tarangire National Park – famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and tree‑climbing lions. The park's name comes from the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife year‑round. Enjoy a full morning and afternoon game drive, stopping for a picnic lunch inside the park. Expect to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and if you're lucky, lions lounging in acacia branches. As the sun begins to set, we exit the park and drive to Karatu, a charming highland town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at Karatu Kankari Lodge, where you'll enjoy a hearty dinner and comfortable accommodations.

The drive is scenic and full of anticipation. We arrive at the central Seronera area in the early afternoon – the heart of the Serengeti. Check in at African Kongoni Camp, a comfortable tented camp offering en‑suite facilities and warm hospitality. Watch the sunrise over the plains, then track lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas. Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, then head out again for more game viewing. Central Serengeti is famous for its resident wildlife: large pride of lions, solitary leopards in the riverine forests, elephants crossing the tracks, and herds of buffalos, zebras and giraffes. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the bush, perhaps near a hippo pool. In the late afternoon, continue exploring until sunset, then return to African Kongoni Camp for dinner and another night under the African sky.

We stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater – a moment that leaves every traveler speechless. Continue to Embarakai Ngorongoro Camp, located on the crater rim. Check in, enjoy lunch, and take in the spectacular views. The afternoon is yours to relax, take a nature walk (with a Maasai guide), or simply absorb the fresh mountain air. Over 25,000 large animals live inside the crater: lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, hyenas, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a full morning game drive across the crater floor, with a picnic lunch by the famous hippo pool. This is your best chance to see the endangered black rhino in its natural habitat. After an unforgettable safari experience, ascend the crater walls and begin your drive back toward Arusha. You have two options: if you have an evening flight, we transfer you directly to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). If you prefer to stay another night, we drop you at your Arusha hotel.
