Day 2

Full Day Central Serengeti

Today is a full day dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti. After breakfast, you will head out with a picnic lunch to explore one of the best year-round wildlife regions in Tanzania. The Central Serengeti is known for its resident predators – lions on kopjes, leopards in acacia trees, and cheetahs on the plains. You may see large herds of zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and elephant. Our professional guide knows where to spot animals and will put you at the right angle for photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Two days in Serengeti make this package more advantageous as compared to 3-day safaris.

Day 3

Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 3-4 hours). Upon arrival, you will descend 600 meters onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an afternoon game drive. The crater is a natural enclosure for approximately 25,000 large animals – including lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino. The afternoon light is perfect for photography. Our guide will explain the animals in a friendly and professional way. After your crater tour, ascend and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
